2017 Indie Pop is back baby!

Eclectic Duo Freedom Fry has returned with brand spanking new single “Dopamine”. Nestled somewhere in-between classic rock and indie folk, Freedom Fry has been making waves in the scene since 2017, the married couple of French girl Marie Seyrat and American boy Bruce Driscoll have sparked their very own universe within their music with the writing and production taking place in house and featuring a massive catalogue of over 300 original pieces and numerous compositions for Film and Television, their intuition serves us catchy timeless tunes fitting any mood or occasion.

“Dopamine” feels like a forgotten piece of pop culture; plunging me back into a world where every day had a sunset, and all I had on me was a few pennies and an aching hunger to find new music. This track came to me as a total surprise, whilst I searched through the submit hub charts. That sweet acoustic melody perked me up immediately, with Bruce’s incredibly crisp vocals aside the subtly impactful lyrics at 1:05 joining the track influences together so naturally, (” I get down chemically yeah, give it to me now, Dopamine.”) connecting the pathways in my brain effortlessly.

Freedom Fry Dopamine

With a newfound sensation and my arms opened wide towards the inland empire, I felt like a track star with the hook running laps around my mind. Singing through the chorus as loud as I possibly could. The track forever sitting beneath the surface of my mind. Freedom Fry’s latest single proves good Indie pop is still out there, you just have to look for it.

Firmly planting their feet within our culture, you may even hear them while waiting on Amazons’ customer service line. With their discography offering up such a vast variety of sounds and perspectives on the world, I’m in no hurry to get through all of it today, savouring every last synth drum pattern and chorus till my brain bursts with ecstasy.
