Luminiah impressed again with the 3rd part of her trilogy with their song ‘Chapter III: Love Alchemy’. A deeply introspective soliloquy where she explores how her more guarded approach to life and relationships may have long-standing consequences on who she grows to become as an individual. The song welcomes us with gracefully played keys mixed in with Luminiah’s sultry vocal delivery, showcasing range that wasn’t on display in the previous parts of this series of tracks.

Her voice dances lightly yet masterfully over the gentle percussion that is present over most of the track; the drum pattern is subtle but serves to add more of a punch to her vocals. The ethereal melodies underscored with the feminine fire place me into a hypnotic, almost dreamlike state where I find myself curious enough to dissect what this song exactly means.

Similar to previous works in this series of tracks, Luminiah showcases a deep reflection on prior relationships, where she speaks on how her emotional guardedness can prevent growth within future relationships and can lead to stagnation, not only in the relationship but even at a purely individual level. As Luminiah states. “This song is about holding people accountable to a deep dive into themselves.”

As she has before, Luminiah delivers an incredible performance, and if this is the last song in the Chapter, it would serve as an incredibly high note to end the trilogy on. Certainly an immersive listening experience for those looking for a song with some depth and subtext, but also for those who want something to dance to.
