Bino Bames falls through the clouds with New Single ‘Isolated’.
DIY visionary Bino Bames is rewriting the playbook with his new single ‘Isolated’ Gracefully pirouetting between genre and the genreless, he is a nomad in every sense of the word. From ‘Velvet Underground’ to ‘Spike Jonze’, Bino bends and warps the boundaries of any creative medium he can get his hands on. From crafting his own music to conceptualising his videos.
Written from the perspective of his father Bino Bames ‘Isolated’ is an hypnotic trip into self-isolation. A hauntingly personal track, it envelops you in its undying vulnerability and deeply introspective atmosphere. When everything is crumbling around us often the easiest thing to do is run, but what happens when running no longer satisfies us? When the impact is no longer on us, but the ones we love. To not fall back every time, to not abandon right away. It can feel as if it’s second nature to do these things, when it’s the only way you’ve ever known how to cope.
Through his masterful lyrical qualities, Bino absolutely nails the feeling of that push and pull relationship of conflicting emotions. Wanting so badly to change, to not run, asking yourself can it be different this time? However, old habits die hard calling you back like a siren in a black sea. This feeling has been illustrated so eloquently through his instrumentation, the sporadic rhythm of the sputtering drums reflecting a familiar emotional place, The warm fuzzy riffs emanating their hopeful sadness, Alongside Bino’s vocals tying the knot for a sonically soaked and textured emotional rollercoaster.
Bino Bames has absolutely opened my eyes and alerted my attention with his latest track ‘Isolated’ from his visualisers to his sonic world building, Bino is a true storyteller in ever sense of the word. Showing such immense potential and love for any art form he puts himself into, the passion is felt immensely. With an album due late 2025 I can’t wait to see how he pushes his sound further and grows into himself as an artist.
