House At The Horse

House at the Horse welcomes some new selectors into the mix whilst still holding it down with some familiar faces back from hiatus.

FVRGER has accumulated features across the Western Cape, from Cape Town to Joburg, consistently producing music as well as playing it on both digital and vinyl formats. Forming part of the newly founded Safe Tapes record label, FVRGER has been pushing to make his mark with a focus on the true underground sounds of CPT.

With a soothing newly released house track on the first compilation of @hotboxedrecords , as well as older independent house releases, his focus on house music allows for movement as he navigates the various sounds which hold a dance floor together.

His debut at the Striped Horse will come as a welcome into the Down South community as he closes down House at the Horse on the 4th of September.

Spéki is no stranger to the Horse. Having opened the space on multiple occasions, he knows how to create movement within the crowd. With a focus on dubhouse and minimal Spéki weaves a journey through sound and is not afraid to utilise those echoes and delays.

The horse will be jostling on the 4th, so don’t miss out on getting your tickets early. However, there will be a limited number of individual tickets at the door!
