Curtis Millen is an Irish Soul-Funk musician with musically vibrant tracks. His high-energy performances merge the warmth of Classic Soul with the pulse of Modern Funk, House and Disco. With rich vocals and zestful instrumentals his music is not something you’d just want to look over, but it is something to be experienced.

‘Funky’ and ‘full of groove’ is how I’d describe the up-beat vibes of Curtis Millen’s Funk track ‘SMALL STUFF’. Akin to a shot of espresso, this song has all the power to wake you up in the morning and get you

jamming for the rest of the day.

Made up of soulful sax, guitar, and synthesizers a bashing instrumental is created. I particularly liked those synth-y effects used at around 1:44 minutes, it’s quirky and really adds that final touch to the rest of the music. Curtis Millen has a lot of vocal range and this is exemplified by his strong vocals throughout the song, that are then toned down at around 1:48 minutes and swing into that mumble jazz style, adding that extra flavour to the musical pot. This is definitely a song that I will have on repeat – especially at the start of the day when I want to kick off with a morning jam!
