Soft Siren puts forth a song that sounds just as ethereal as her name. From the depths of a vast audio-scape, the riff of a guitar makes its intro – each strum accompanied by angelic vocals. While listening to ‘Feeling Down’, I was swept away, and from just the instrumental I was able to experience tangible, vivid imagery through sound. With really nice mixing and crisp production nothing is lost in translation, while still maintaining that floaty vibe that is indicative of

Dream Pop and Bedroom Lo-Fi. The hook at 00:37 pulls you into the thrum of the song, like a mermaid ushering you into the sea – it’s delicate as it is alluring with smooth synths and dreamy tunes.

If you’re ready to drift away alongside a melodic song, with touches of melancholy ‘Feeling Down’, is a track that I highly suggest adding to your playlist. It’s simply a song that will end up playing on repeat!
