Best Day Out

Best Day Out, the vibrant one-day festival that brings together music, food, and family fun, returns for its highly anticipated second edition on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the iconic Company Gardens in Cape Town.

After a successful debut, Best Day Out is back with a new venue right in the heart of the city. The 2025 edition promises a bigger and better experience, celebrating Cape Town’s rich creative culture through a curated mix of live bands, DJs, artisanal food and drink, lawn games, a dedicated kiddies’ area, market stalls, and more. With something for everyone, the festival is fast becoming a must-attend highlight of the season.

This year, Best Day Out expands its vision with the support of Mission for the Inner City, who join as a collaborator to elevate the experience and infuse fresh energy into the festival’s creative direction.
