Framed Sessions @ The Pink Room

On the 3rd October 2026, at The Pink Room, Framed Sessions will seamlessly blend photography, live visual art and music in one immersive evening – creating a quaint microcosm where a variety of art forms can co-exist. Founded by Carm d’Unienville, Framed Sessions, is a multidisciplinary art experience that beats through her creative vision: a space created to celebrate both the act of creation and the final artwork itself.

The event will begin with an exhibition that is focused on 4 to 6 local photographers whose work captures musicians both on and off stage. The curated showcase highlights the integral role photographers play in documenting music culture. Guests will be able to explore the exhibition, while being accompanied by an atmospheric live vinyl DJ set from Waxx Garden.

All exhibition prints are provided by Lauren Dog Ear Editions – each photographer will present two A2 prints, and four A3 prints, allowing for their images to be viewed both at scale and in intimate detail. After the exhibition, prints will remain available for purchase through the Framed Sessions website.

From there, Framed Sessions will transition into a pumping jam session, a collaboration between the musicians, a live sketch artist, and live projection artists. This segment centers experimentation and provides rare insight into the creative dialogue that usually happens behind the scenes. To fully conclude the night a live show will take place that will feature the 3 bands, Dierbaar, Operation Khataza, and Toughguy.
