Pillow Talk – August

In celebration of Women’s Month, Third House has joined forces with performance poet, sex educator and founder of Pleasure is for People Amir Methvin, all the way from NYC, to bring you Pillow Talk: The Poetry of Pleasure. An open-mic poetry event centred around pleasure, love in all its passionate and platonic forms, sexual education and healing through poetic expression.

The event will welcome open-mic poets to the stage, incorporate elements of sexual education & poetry from Amir herself, and raise funds for the CORA Project: an NGO whose objective is to fight period poetry in South Africa. It is also a pad drive, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
